General Election: November 7, 2017
Vote by Mail
Vote by mail ballots will be mailed to voters October 17, 2017, postage provided or you may return to City Hall or Utah County Clerk. Along with the majority of Utah County municipalities, the Saratoga Springs City Council voted to contract with Utah County Clerk for administration of the Saratoga Springs 2017 Municipal and General Elections using Vote by Mail (VBM).
The Utah County Clerk's office will mail ballots 21 days before the election to active voters. An active voter is a voter that has voted at least once in the last four years. Inactive voters may re-register to update their voter registration to receive a ballot in the mail.
A Primary Election has been scheduled for City Council. The top four vote-getters will move on to the General Election ballot. View the candidates and their contact information for the Mayoral and City Council elections.
Voter Registration Deadlines
For Municipal Primary Election on August 15, 2017 the following deadlines apply
- July 17, 2017 is the last day the County will accept mail-in voter registration forms for the Primary Election UCA 20A-2-102.5(2).
- July 31, 2017 is the last day the County Clerk can register voters in office and online for the Primary Election UCA 20A-2-201, 206.
For Municipal General Election on November 7, 2017 the following deadlines apply:
- October 10, 2017 is the last day the County will accept mail-in voter registration forms for the General Election UCA 20A-2-102.5(2)
- October 23, 2017 is the last day the County Clerk can register voters in office of online UCA 20A-2-201, 206
