The Planning Commission consists of seven members, appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council, who serve terms of four years. The Commission is responsible to make recommendations to the City Council regarding all development applications and other duties as more specifically described in the City’s Development Ordinances and the Utah Code. On occasion, the Commission holds additional meetings at various times and locations.

Planning Commissioners may participate in the meeting electronically via video or telephonic conferencing. The order of the agenda items are subject to change by the Chairman. Citizens may address the Planning Commission during Public Input which has been set aside to express ideas, concerns, and comments on issues not listed on the agenda as a Public Hearing. All comments must be recognized by the Chairperson and addressed through the microphone.
