Start & Stop Utility Service

Owner Occupied Properties

To start utility service, residents must fill out a utility application, complete the online form, Online New Utility Service application. If you prefer to complete the PDF version, The Utility Application (PDF) document application should be returned to:

Deposit

A $120 deposit is required for service. The deposit is applied to accounts after 12 months of no delinquency. Residents can also visit for help in starting utility service at:

If you complete the online utility application, you still need to contact the City at 801-766-9793 to pay your deposit.

Rental Properties

If residents are renting from a landlord, an Online Landlord Agreement application must be completed for service to start along with a Online New Utility Service application. If you prefer to complete the PDF version, both applications should be returned to:

Stopping Service

To stop or cancel utility service, residents may call City Offices at 801-766-9793 or complete the Online Utility Services Termination Form. A forwarding address must be provided in order for the City to send a final bill.
