While we know we are a smaller library and can't provide all the resources a larger library could, we wanted to share with you additional resources that are available for your children to get books they may need for school and additional resources for learning.

Home Schooling Families Library Access

If your family home schools, you can you can gain access to your boundary school’s library by filling out a form through the Alpine School District.

Preschool Pioneer: Utah's Online Library

Learn letters, numbers, STEAM and more using literacy practices such as talking, singing, reading, writing and playing. The information you’ll need to log in is available through your school’s library staff, or here in the library. You can either come in or call, and we will be happy to share it with you.

Project Gutenberg

Project Gutenberg offers over 59,000 free eBooks. Choose among free epub and Kindle eBooks, download them or read them online. You will find the world's great literature here, with focus on older works for which U.S. copyright has expired. Thousands of volunteers digitized and diligently proofread the eBooks, for enjoyment and education.

Overdrive for Schools is free for students within the Alpine School District. Access information is linked here. Contact your school’s library staff for questions about access.

Utah Kids Ready to Read!

Helping parents and early literacy providers with programming, information on how to choose books, ask open ended questions, and more. This site also compiles and lists program information for Utah Center for Literacy, Utah Humanities Council, Reach Out and Read, PBS Kids Utah and local programs and resources.

Utah’s Online Library for Schools (Students, Parents, and Educators)

You also have access to Utah’s Online Library, provided through the State Library. The log in information is available through your school’s library staff, or here in the library. You can either come in or call, and we will be happy to share it
