Summer Reading Program
Starting Tuesday, June 1st
Saratoga Springs Public Library’s summer reading programs return this year with the theme of “Tails and Tales”. Saratoga Springs residents can pick up tracking sheets starting Tuesday, June 1st; the last day to turn in sheets & redeem for prizes is Saturday, July 31st. Tracking sheets will be available with our drive-up service, at the front desk of the library, and available online to download and print at home.
There are programs for everyone: ages 0-3, entering preschool through 5th (or ages 4-10), those entering 6th through 12th grades (or ages 11-17), and kids at heart (or those with an Adult Library Card) with a variety of goals and activities to complete. There are great prizes for all ages, though, so be sure to join the fun!
In addition to the reading programs, the Library hopes to be able to host other programs later in the summer. These programs are tentatively planned, following guidance from The Utah Public Health and Economic Activation guidelines, and updated information will be released as available.
The regular children’s virtual programming will take a two-week break the last half of May, then continue through the summer after Memorial Day. Enjoy Zoom, Rattle & Shake (interactive music-based half hour Zoom meeting) on Monday mornings at 10. New story time videos premiere each week: Wiggle Worms for younger learners on Wednesday mornings at 11, and Preschool Story Time on Fridays at 11. Each week’s video is available to view for one week.
