    City Council Chamber

Bouncing Babies is for children from birth through age two and their grownups.* In this 20-minute storytime, we’ll read just one or two books, but sing lots of songs while grownups play and bond with their child - learning fun songs, rhymes, bounces, and activities they can do at home, too! Registration is required, with a maximum of 10 children. * If an older sibling needs to attend, we ask that they bring a stuffed animal or doll to use while they participate in the activities and songs.

Community Playtime is open play for families; we set out toys and early literacy activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to enjoy with their grownups. A great opportunity for kids to play with different toys, and for grownups to chat with other grownups! No registration required, although the play space is small.

Toddler Time: ABCs and 123s (previously called Wiggle Worms) is for children ages 2 or 3 who have outgrown the baby story time, but aren’t quite ready for Preschool Pals. This 20-minute storytime has a basic early preschool curriculum and covers a number, color, or letter of the alphabet; we read one or two books and sing lots of songs, with plenty of opportunities for both kids and their grownups to get some wiggles out. Registration is required, with a maximum of 20 children.
